Pateras Mansion
The “Pateras Mansion” hotel is the only accommodation directly on the sea in Oinousses, offering an intimate luxury experience unlike any other on the island. Housed in a neoclassical masterpiece built in 1936 by Captain Panagos Pateras, a shipowner, and his wife Katingo Laimou Pateras, the mansion was designed by the renowned architect Yannis Koutsis, who also built the Monastery of Evangelism of the Mother of God. Once a summer home of the Pateras family, it preserves historical elegance with marble staircases, a serene courtyard, and artistic touches by the celebrated iconographer Fotis Kontoglou. Thoughtfully restored and transformed into a three-star hotel, it blends the island’s maritime heritage and the family’s legacy with modern comfort. Building History
